Located on the Chicago Riverwalk, Hyatt Regency Chicago offers views of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan with 2,032 rooms and suites overlooking the river, lake and cityscape. Best of all, the hotel is within walking distance of famous attractions such as the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier and Millennium Park, as well as many other attractions of the city.
The transformative phased renovation project of the Hyatt Regency Chicago will be completed in the spring of 2024. The renovation includes each of the 2,032 rooms and suites, as well as the Regency and Crystal ballrooms. The latest update for the largest hotel in Illinois follows a 168 million rejuvenation of the lobby and meeting rooms in 2013, bringing the total investment in the hotel to over 270 million in less than 10 years.
The revitalized rooms have a simple, open design, modern furniture and soft comfort to create an intentional feeling of tranquility from the moment you walk in. The rooms are clearly arranged, carefully organized for work and socializing and infinitely flexible. The windy city’s rich history is depicted in art pieces throughout, and the design elements feature graphic patterns from Chicago’s Art Deco, while the color palette pays homage to Chicago’s gray stones.
The Hyatt Regency Chicago is Chicago’s largest hotel and the largest hyatt in the world and a first-class destination for meetings and events. With 240,000 square meters of flexible meeting space, the hotel is able to host meetings of any size and personalized service to ensure that every detail is taken into account. As part of the 102 million renovation, the ballrooms will receive Regency and Crystal upgrades (more coming soon!).
